WHAT WE DO

Dakota At Home Family Caregivers

We Pay South Dakota Family Caregivers Through The South Dakota Hope Waiver

Our team checks your eligibility with the South Dakota Hope Waiver through Medicaid, consumer directed programs, veteran directed care programs, respite care services, paid family leave programs, and more government home health care programs.

All the while, Paid.care elevates your caregiver skills through training, certifications and assistance and gets you paid for the exceptional level of care you provide for your care recipient — an elderly or disabled love one.

Note: due to current state regulations, Medicare is NOT enough to become a paid family caregiver in Michigan.

CAREGIVER SATISFACTION

Hope Waiver South Dakota Testemonial

Dakota At Home Family Caregiver Testimonial

"Very grateful for Paid.care’s Dakota At Home Family Caregiver Team! They helped me navigate the HOPE Waiver enrollment process to get paid to take care of my mom.

Jean M. | Sioux Falls, South Dakota

  • "Paid.care has been a lifesaver for my mom and me. Thanks to their support, I can now spend quality time with her rather than the alternative of having to send her to a nursing home. As a caregiver on the Home Help Program in Indiana, Paid.care makes my work more fulfilling, and getting paid makes it even better!"

Jean L | Grand Rapids, MI Caregiver

  • “It’s my mom. I would never turn my back on her. As her caregiver, I am always giving care, but Paid.care’s family caregiver support program and support services not only gets me paid, but coached me through mom’s care plan and activities of daily living to help me provide better care. Couldn’t recommend a better personal care service or home help agency!”

Tom C. | Detroit, MI Caregiver

  • “I’ve had outsider home health aides in the past, but they always end poorly. As an older adult mostly housebound with several health issues, having my youngest adult child, Chris, around as an attendant caregiver has been great for our relationship, my physical health, and also for my mental health. The financial assistance for Chris through a daily stipend/reimbursement is also much higher than the other local Home Help Agencies we interviewed."

    Becky L. | Sagatuck, MI

  • "I tried calling several places...our health insurance company, a nearby home health care agency, the department of human services, aarp, and several other gov numbers! There was so much misguided information out there and it wasn’t until I got on the line with Paid.care that I learned about consumer-directed services, the Mediciad Waiver, and the various family care Home Help Program in Michigan."

    Darius P. | Chicago Caregiver

  • "I’ve cared for my dad with alzheimer’s disease for over two years. He always told me that he wish he had purchased a long-term care insurance policy, but you know the saying...hindsight is 20/20! Thankfully, we learned about both self-directed home care and veteran-directed home care options paid for by the department of veteran affairs. While I couldn’t work through Paid.care, they happily pointed us in the right direction and for that my dad and I are forever grateful!"
